To enhance the productivity and operability and to alleviate the warp of a panel by moderating the stone crack at the time of manufacturing the panel and omitting the step of manufacturing the laminate of a skin-honeycomb core-skin.
The method for manufacturing a stone composite panel obtained by lining a honeycomb core 2 to the thin layer stone 1 of a front surface material comprises the steps of laminating a fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin type adhesive sheets 3, 3' between the front surface material and the core 2 and at the opposite side of the core 2 by using the core 2 laminated with no skin on both surfaces, interposing a cushioning material 4 between the front surface material and a hot press, simultaneously adhering the materials by hot press molding the laminate or laminating a plate material having linear expansion coefficient similar to the linear expansion coefficient of the front surface material on the rear surface side of the core 2, interposing the material 4 between the front surface material and a press hot plate, and hot press molding it.
