PURPOSE: To obtain a sun visor for motorcar, whose number of parts as well as working man-hour are reduced, by a method wherein the thin layer of soft resin material is bonded to a fabric and resin for mirror is bonded onto the thin layer of the soft resin material through ultrasonic welding to form a mirror while the fabric, having an area slightly smaller than the resin for mirror, is removed before or after forming the mirror.

CONSTITUTION: A sheet of fabric 11, which becomes the sheathing material of a sun visor, is prepared and the thin layer 21 of soft vinyl chloride is applied on the rear surface of the fabric 11. Subsequently, the thin layer 21 of the soft vinyl chloride is cut rectangularly to form a window 22. Thereafter, a resin for mirror, having a slightly larger size than the window 22 and consisting of acrylic resin or the like formed with a mirror surface on the surface thereof, is bonded onto the thin layer 21 of soft vinyl chloride through ultrasonic welding. The fabric 11, to which the resin 23 for mirror is attached, is worked so as to cover the core material of the sun visor together with the other fabrics. According to this method, the manufacture of the sun visor for motorcar may be facilitated and the manufacturing cost of the same may be reduced.
