Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a surface-treated stainless steel sheet having a speciality of ground mark easy to correct after forming work, no dazzling metallic luster along this ground mark, a nearly dull finished frosted surface and excellent corrosion resistance.
CONSTITUTION: After the surface of the stainless steel plate is ground by belt grinding 14 to a prescribed surface roughness, the steel sheet is rolled 16 by 1st work rolls having a surface roughness each smaller than a surface roughness formed by belt grinding, then, rolled 16 by 2nd work rolls having a surface roughness each larger than the 1st surface roughness.
