PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a titanium clad steel plate high in shearing strength and bending workability irrespective of the size of the clad steel plate concerning the hot rolled titanium clad steel plate.
CONSTITUTION: A thin intermediate material 3 of a low carbon steel having composition containing ≤0.01wt% carbon is inserted between a base material 1 and a laminated material 2, the surface 10 of the laminated material to be a joining surface of the intermediate material 3 and the laminated material 2 is finished by a wet high gage grinding, further, an interval 7 of 0.1-8.0mm is set between the intermediate material 3 and the laminated material 2, by which assembling slab 9 is constructed, and this slab 9 is hot-rolled at 650-850°C.
