Abstract:
PURPOSE:To offer the high-accuracy, inexpensive torque sensor by heating both end parts of a rotary shaft directly or symmetrically by contact heat conduction. CONSTITUTION:When an adhesive which adheres the rotary shaft 1 and amorphous alloy materials 2 and 3 is set at high temperature, high frequency coils 8 and 9 are loaded and supplied with equal power to heat the rotary shaft 1 directly or symmetrically by the heat conduction. This method heats the adhesion part speedily up to desired temperature as compared with the heat generation of a high-temperature furnace. Further, the heat is conducted symmetrically from both ends of the rotary shaft 1, so the heat is conducted symmetrically to the adhesive of the two amorphous magnetic alloy materials 2 and 3 to uniform adhesion conditions. Consequently, hysteresis, irregularity, and asymmetry are removed from the output characteristics of the torque sensor, and the high-accuracy torque sensor is obtained.
