Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the position accuracy for setting slit plates and to simultaneously form a plurality of photo-interruptors to improve production efficiency by secondarily. molding respective primary mold connecting body and metal slit plate-connecting body on the light-receiving and-emitting sides and metal slit plate-connecting body simultaneously in a multiple connection manner through a common frame supporting respective connecting bodies. CONSTITUTION:A light-receiving chip 1 is mounted on a lead terminal 2 and internally connected with the other lead terminal 3 by the whole wire 4 to form a light-receiving side translucent resin body primarily molded by thermosetting translucent resin 9. Then, a light-emitting side translucent resin body using a light-emitting chip 6 in place of the light-receiving chip 1 is formed in like manner. In this case, the surface 9a being the optical path of both translucent resin bodies is flat. Also, the lead terminals 2, 3 are integrally connected by a common frame 13 equipped with location holes 13a in the tip part. Then, slit plates 10 equipped with slits 10b being optical paths are formed of metal plates. A primary mold connecting body A and slit plate-connecting body B are superposed into an integral body.
