PURPOSE: To obtain the titled flat article high in the decorating property with an improved contour steadiness property of patterns by performing multi-staged transferring on a hot melting transparent sheet or the like with a plurality of stamping foils varied in the color and gloss whose transfer film surface has patterns masked by a releasing composition.
CONSTITUTION: A flat article 8 such as transparent film, sheet and plate having a hot melting surface is used as raw material and an overlap transferring is performed thereon by multistages i.e. primary, secondary and tertiary, in a proper sequence with several types of stamping foils 1, 2 and 3 which are varied in the color and/or gloss of the transfer film while having maskings 4, 5 and 6 of required patterns on the transfer film surface by coating a releasing non-hot melting composition. Thus, a transparent flat article 17 is obtained having a composite pattern varied in the color and/or gloss with the primary transfer pattern 10, the secondary transfer pattern 13 and the tertiary transfer pattern 16 being overlap-transferred sequentially.
