Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an ultrapure HF by bringing HF into contact with an elemental fluorine in the existence of a metal fluoride.
CONSTITUTION: HF being more than 95% in purity is brought into contact with the elemental fluorine being the 2-8 times quantity of a stoichiometric quantity, which is required for converting impurities under the existence of the metal fluoride being the 1-20 times quantity of the stoichiometric one which is required for converting a nonmetallic fluoride into a nonmetallic fluoride complex and also under a pressure of 0.5-10 bars and in the temp. range from '-20 to 150°C.
