Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent craking, etc., caused by welding and reduce the cost.

CONSTITUTION: A vapor use bellows member 1 is inserted into dies 2a, 2b of a cylindrical shape having a corrugated cross section shape on the inside surface, both ends of the dies 2a, 2b and the vapor use bellows member 1 are seal-welded in a vacuum, the vapor use bellows member 1 is plastically deformed into a corrugated shape by heating and pressurizing it through inert gas in a hot isotropic pressurizing device 6, and thereafter, the dies 2a, 2b are detached and the member 1 is cut to a prescribed length. In such a way, the vapor use bellows member 1 can be formed integrally, therefore, its mass production is enabled, the cost can be reduced, and a variance of a product quality can also be reduced.
