PURPOSE: To form a wood decorative veneer superior in the variety in colors by coloring thin pieces of 0.05-0.80 mm thickness with various colors, adhering and press molding the same into a block to manufacture the flitch, and slicing the flitch.

CONSTITUTION: The wood material thin pieces of 0.05-0.80 mm thickness, 6-400 mm2 of area and 0.4-7.0 of aspect ratio are colored with various colors and dried, and then the multicolored wood material thin pieces 1 are kneaded. The wood material thin pieces 1 are coated with an adhesive agent, then the pieces 1 are press molded by a pressing device 2 to form a flitch 3, and the flitch 3 is sliced by a slice blade 4 to manufacture a wood decorative veneer 5. The obtained wood veneer keeps the good property of wood and has good appearance to cope with the modern living space.
