PURPOSE: To provide a low-cost method for manufacturing a woody decorative plate having surface hardness to pass an F type of Japanese Agricultural Standard(JAS) of a special plywood even if a decorative sheet is laminated and adapted for a counter, a table top, a surface plate, etc., of a low covered table with a heat source underneath, etc., without decreasing productivity.

CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a woody decorative plate comprises the step of heat pressing a woody plate and a decorative sheet through non- solvent type radical polymerizable adhesive (e.g. unsaturated polyester resin adhesive containing inorganic filler) (particularly preferably by coating the decorative sheet side with either adhesive or polymerization initiator of the adhesive and coating the woody plate side with the other).
