PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of torsion of a green sheet and reduce the generation of separation upon baking by a method wherein a material is laid while extracting a Mylar film from a feeding shaft by a transfer means and the film is sent into a cutting machine as it is to cut into a predetermined size.

CONSTITUTION: A transfer means 40 pinches a Mylar film 1 by carrier rollers 40a, 40b from up-and-down so that the laying width of a material remains at the central part thereof and driving force is applied to the shafts of the rollers to pull the film 1 out of a feeding shaft 11 and feed it forward. A material reservoir 30 is arranged above the force side of the feeding shaft 11 while the Mylar film 1, pulled out from the shaft 11 with a given speed, is passed through a material laying position P. The material is extended by a doctor blade 3 into a predetermined thickness whereby a green sheet 10 is formed. The green sheet 10 is fed horizontally and forwardly by the carrier rollers 40a, 40b and is cut by a cutting machine 7. The cutting machine 7 is constituted of a receiving edge 7a at the lower side and a movable edge 7b at the upper side of the machine while the movable edge 7b is dropped on the continuous green sheet 10 at every predetermined time intervals to cut the film.
