To provide a manufacturing device and a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal cell, capable of sticking glass substrates having a dimension larger than that of conventional ones and imparting the degree of freedom to the line construction adapting it to the deformed shape of a layout space.
The manufacturing device of the liquid crystal cell is provided with a carrying-in side transfer unit 3 for transferring a first and a second glass substrates 1 and 2, an adhesive for temporary fixation applying unit 5 for accepting the first glass substrate and applying the adhesive for temporary fixation on the first glass substrate, a turning and sticking unit 6 for accepting the second glass substrate, turning the second glass substrate and sticking the second substrate to the substrate coated with the adhesive for temporary fixation, a carrying-out side transfer unit 9 for conveying a stuck glass substrates P, a press unit 7 for forming a gap between the glass substrates and an aligner unit 8 for positioning the mutual glass substrates pressed and each unit is mutually divided and the position of each unit is made freely changeable.
