Abstract:
To provide a technique for reducing loss of an electrolyte membrane and a catalyst layer while increasing the production efficiency of a membrane electrode assembly with a sub-gasket.SOLUTION: A manufacturing device for a membrane electrode assembly with a sub-gasket includes a control unit 4, a second half-cut unit 14, and a first attachment mechanism 15. The control unit 4 detects the position of a joint 95 of a first sub-gasket base material 9a. The second half-cut unit 14 is provided with a first cut unit C9a in a portion excluding the position of the joint 95 that has been detected by the control unit 4 in the first sub-gasket base material 9a. The first attachment mechanism 15 attaches a first catalyst layer 83 to a corresponding region A91 of the first cover film 93a formed by providing the first cut unit C9a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
