To provide a manufacturing device of a separation membrane element in which the bent back of tips of respective filtrate passage materials can be prevented when laminated members are wound around a collecting pipe, to attain easiness of making the winding operation and shortened winding time and which can dispense with the filtrate passage material of the most upper layer of the laminated members to attain cost reduction, and can be constituted as an automated device.
In this manufacturing device of the separation membrane element, separation membrane units which are formed by creasing a leafy separation membrane in folio so as to put a raw liquid passage material in-between and the filtrate passage materials are alternatively piled, and laminated members which are made by successively joining the tip part of the filtrate passage material which is positioned on the upper layer side to the filtrate passage material which is positioned on the lower layer side are wound around the collecting pipe by making the tip part of the filtrate passage material of the lowermost layer the beginning of winding. Therein, the manufacturing device has a means of rolling and uniformalizing the tip part of the filtrate passage material over the filtrate passage material of the subsequent lower layer when the laminated member is wound around the collecting pipe.
