PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing washed and immersed rice which can prevent the quality deterioration of the rice by effectively removing crushed rice, foreign materials, starch, embryos, etc., and preventing the their generation in the manufacturing process.
SOLUTION: This manufacturing device is composed of a washed rice treating part B equipped with a water agitation type rice washing device 8 for agitating and washing polished rice by making washing water flow through the rice, a water drain part 10 which prevents the polished rice from passing through, accommodates the polished rice fed together with the washing water from the rice washing device B by a porous container having a number of through holes allowing foreign materials smaller than the polished rice to pass through, and carries out water draining treatment where the washing water is made to gravity-drop while stopping the supply of the water, a dehydrator 29 which dehydrates the polished rice by centrifugal force in a state that the polished rice is housed in the porous container after carrying out the water draining treatment in the water drain part 10, and a drier 30 for drying the dehydrated polished rice.
