Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an image display device which can appreciate and observe the objects in a wider range not only by the videos produced by the visible light but the images that are electrically processed.
CONSTITUTION: The image display device consists of an image pickup part 3 which converts the optical image produced from an object 1 via an objective optical system 2 into the electric signals (image signals), a control part 4 which applies various types image processings to the image signals for emphasis of the contours, the correction of blur, the color tone changes, etc., a display part 5 which takes the desired image information out of the recording medium including the image information that is previously recorded and shows the image signals of the object 1 and the image information, and an eyepiece optical system 6 through which the images can be viewed.
