To provide a manufacturing device of a battery which can improve productivity by reducing abrasion of a blade tip 4a of a cutting blade 4 of a cut roll 1 by forming the tip 4a in a waved or zigzag shape, and a battery manufactured by the same.

In the manufacturing device of the battery for making separators 6 for separating and overlapping positive and negative electrode plates constituting power generating elements by cutting a separator sheet 3 at a constant interval, the cut roll 1 and a die roll 2 pinching and conveying the separator sheet 3 are arrayed in parallel, and the cut roll 1 is provided with the cut blade 4 with the blade tips 4a protruding from a peripheral face of the roll, formed into a shape of continuously turning back and forth between both ends of the roll in an axial direction of the cut roll.
