Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing apparatus enabling a bifold sheet member to be obtained in which a strip-shaped sheet member is folded in half and also enabling a position of the bifold sheet member led out of a twisting part to be stabilized.SOLUTION: A bifold sheet member manufacturing apparatus 10 of the present invention includes: a folding part 20 at which lateral side regions 1s on both sides in a width direction X of a strip-shaped sheet member 1 being conveyed are bent up in a vertical direction Z, the sheet member 1 is folded in half along a longitudinal direction Y, and a bifold sheet member 2 is formed; and a twisting part 40 in which the bifold sheet member 7 is twisted around an axis that is determined with a direction along the conveying direction Y as the axial direction. The bifold sheet member manufacturing apparatus has a clamping part 30 for clamping the bifold sheet member 2 between the folding part 20 and the twisting part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
