PURPOSE: To manufacture a laminated sheet giving low abrasion to the router edge for the finishing of the end face, by impregnating a base paper having Al2O3- and SiO2-contents of lower than specific levels with a thermosetting resin, and laminating the prepreg sheets thus obtained.

CONSTITUTION: A base paper having Al2O3-content and SiO2-content of as low as ≤0.01wt% each (asbolutely dry basis) is used as the paper substrate, and impregnated with a thermosetting resin varnish such as phenolic resin varnish, epoxy resin varnish, etc., and dried to obtain a prepreg. A plurality of the prepreg sheets are laminated, and if necessary, a copper foil, etc. are placed thereon, and hot-pressed to obtain the objective laminated sheet.

EFFECT: The copper-clad laminate, etc. manufactured by the process can be cut without forming burr.
