Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing 1-(2-aminophenyl)-3-phenylurea with high selectivity without using a specific organic solvent or a specific reaction device with a smaller solvent amount than conventional methods.SOLUTION: There is provided highly selective manufacturing method of 1-(2-aminophenyl)-3-phenylurea represented by the following formula (1) by reacting o-phenylene diamine and phenyl isocyanate in an aromatic aprotic solvent having no substituent or 1 to 2 substituents.SELECTED DRAWING: None
