To provide manufacturing equipment for a horizontally continuously cast aluminum alloy rod which efficiently manufactures the horizontally continuously cast aluminum alloy rod continuously for a long time.
The manufacturing equipment has a melting/ holding furnace (a melting process) 101 for obtaining a molten aluminum alloy by melting raw materials for an aluminum alloy, a molten metal treatment apparatus (a molten metal treatment process) 201 for removing aluminum oxide and hydrogen gas from the molten aluminum alloy discharged from the melting/ holding furnace 101, a horizontal continuous casting apparatus (a horizontal continuous casting process) 301 for obtaining the horizontally continuously cast aluminum alloy rod by casting the molten aluminum alloy from the molten metal treatment apparatus 201 and a cutting mechanism (a cutting process) 401 for cutting the horizontally continuously cast aluminum alloy rod cast by the horizontal continuous casting apparatus 301 to a standard length and continuously performs these processes.
