Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an antenna (10) including: forming an integrated assembly (100) that is configured with a core (20), a bobbin (30) disposed around the core (20) and having a flange (34), and a coil (50) disposed around the bobbin (30); supplying a liquid filler material (110) into an inner space of a case (70), the case (70) having an opening (70a); inserting the integrated assembly (100) into the inner space of the case (70) via the opening (70a) before or after the supplying of the liquid filler material (110); closing the opening (70a) with the flange (34); concentrating the liquid filler material (110) toward the flange (34) in the inner space; curing the liquid filler material (110) after the concentrating so as to form a cured filler material (120) ; and fixedly supporting the integrated assembly (100) within the case (70) via the cured filler material (120) at a position directly adjacent to the opening (70a) of the case (70).
