To provide an antiglare and reflection-preventing film having high surface hardness and both good antiglare and reflection-preventing properties, and having the fine unevenness imparted on one surface.

A thin film of a hard coat layer-forming material and a thin film of a reflection-preventing layer-forming material are formed successively on a transparent base film. Both the thin films are integrally subjected to embossing, to thereby be allowed to have unevenness and then are cured. By this the hard coat layer and the reflection-preventing layer both having unevenness are formed on the transparent base film.
