PURPOSE: To achieve high density heat source welding, by firmly fitting the base plate and chip on the support plate using a base plate holder and a chip holder, and by exerting pressure which is controlled by a pressurizing spring adjusting bolt and a set nut onto the chip holder.
CONSTITUTION: A base plate holding plate 3 is fastened on the central part of the supporting piece 5, and pressurizing spring adjusting bolts 8 having a chip holder 6 on one end are radially fitted around the peripheray of the supporting piece 5 via pressurizing springs 7. After a base plate 1 having a number of projections 12 formed by notches around the periphery is placed on the central part of the supporting piece 5 and fixed by a base plate holding plate 3 and a fixing bolt 4. A chip 2 is combined with each projection 12 and is firmly fitted by a chip holder 6. Then, by adjusting the spring 7, the joint of the chip 2 and base plate 1 is pressed by the chip holder 6 and electronic beam 10 is irradiated onto the joint for welding.
