PURPOSE: To obtain the black shaft with spiral patterns, by winding by means of filament winding method long carbond filaments impregnated with thermosetting resins around the mandrel, winding further spirally the tape of fluorine resin, heating and hardening.

CONSTITUTION: Long carbon filaments immpregnated with thermosetting resins are wound on a mandrel upto the length after the centerless work, with the resins left on the surface to be wiped away. Then upon it a tape of fluorine resin is wound spirally lapping the same with the end to be fixed with an adhesive tape. Thereafter the fluorine resin tape is removed and the mandrel is pulled out to obtain a black shaft with spiral patterns. That is, the stepped parts made by the lap-winding of fluorine resin is reproduced on the shaft surface as the spiral patterns.
