Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of carbon fiber capable of providing a carbon fiber having suppressed fuzz generation and suppressed winding of a fiber bundle to a roll kneader and further less in fuzz and having high quality during flameproofing treatment of a carbon fiber precursor acryl fiber bundle.SOLUTION: An oil agent composition having residual ratio at 250°C of 95% or more and residual ratio at 800°C or 5% or less is added just before introducing a precursor fiber bundle to flameproofing furnace so that kinetic friction coefficient of a carbon fiber precursor fiber bundle becomes 0.15 or less. A ratio d/dof a major axis dand a minor axis dof a fiber surface of a single fiber of the carbon fiber precursor fiber bundle is preferably 1.2 to 1.8 and maximum value of a depth distribution of a surface wrinkle of the single fiber is preferably 150 nm to 250 nm. An oil agent composition preferably contains at least one of cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid alkyl ester with a specific structure or benzoic acid alkyl ester.SELECTED DRAWING: None
