Abstract:
To provide a carbon fiber bundle that is easily divided into 10,000 or less filaments of the carbon fiber bundle when cut short.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a carbon fiber bundle for manufacturing the carbon fiber bundle by supplying into a firing step the acrylic fiber bundle with a hook drop value of 15 cm or more measured in a non-twisted state, the acrylic fiber bundle is supplied to the firing process after being twisted one turn/m or more to 10 turn/m or less. A method for twisting the acrylic fiber bundle, preferably, is performed by rotating either of a package or a bobbin winding of the acrylic fiber bundle in the non-twisted state.SELECTED DRAWING: None
