Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a carbon fiber woven fabric, by which the carbon fiber woven fabric whose warps comprising carbon fiber yarns have a uniform length, respectively, and whose wefts are straightly arranged without meandering can be produced in high productivity (production speed).
This method for producing the one-way carbon fiber woven fabric from carbon fiber yarns having a fineness of 400 to 6,000 tex as warps and auxiliary fibers having a fineness one-fifth of that of the carbon fiber yarns as wefts uses an air jet loom wherein a heald stationary angle in an opening or closing port of the heald is in a range of 0 to 50°.
