To provide a manufacturing method of a cementitious molded product capable of preventing a tray from being lowered in its strength by the absorption of water and capable of press-molding a cementitious molding material without causing molding failure.
A polystyrenic aqueous mold release agent 5 is applied to the upper surface of a lower mold 1 and dried. Thereafter, the tray 2 having water absorbability is placed on the lower mold 1. Then, the cementitious molding material 3 comprising cement containing a reverse emulsion composition based on cement, water and an oil substance is placed on the tray 2 and press-molded between the lower mold 1 and an upper mold 4. The tray 2 can be placed on the lower mold 1 in a state that moisture in the polystyrenic aqueous mold release agent 5 does not remain after the mold release agent 5 applied to the lower mold 1 is dried and the moisture in the mold release agent 5 is not absorbed by the tray 2 and the lowering of the strength of the tray 2 can be prevented.
