Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a soil brick using surplus soil waste from construction which comprises mixing the surplus soil waste from construction that is volcanic cohesive soil such as Kanto loam and a solidifying material except cement so that the debris may not be deemed as industrial waste.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the soil brick using the surplus soil waste from construction, that is volcanic viscous soil such as Kanto loam, comprises steps of: adjusting the surplus soil waste from construction to the particle size of 5 mm or less; mixing 15-65 pts.wt. of a calcium-based solidifying material of slaked lime or calcium carbonate with 100 pts.wt. of the surplus soil waste from construction; and mixing or kneading 5-20 wt.% of sand to a mixture of the surplus soil waste from construction and the solidifying material, that is sufficiently mixed with pigments therewith in advance, to mold and solidify them.
