To provide a method for producing a composite container, without causing defects such as bubbles on a surface of a plastic member, capable of satisfactorily expanding a preform and the plastic member.SOLUTION: A method for producing a composite container comprising: a step of preparing a preform made of a plastic material; a step of preparing a plastic member; a step of heating the perform; a step of inserting the preform into the plastic member; a step of inserting the preform and the plastic member into a blow molding die while heating the preform and the plastic member; and a step of integrally expanding the preform and the plastic member by subjecting the preform and the plastic member after heating to blow molding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
