PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a high-quality and stable crawler 32 while suppressing influence to a cost.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises: (1) a process of setting a core 52 to a mold 72; (2) a process of injecting an elastic body 48 which is fabricated of a rubber composition and is in an uncrosslinked state into the mold 72; and (3) a process of compressing and heating elastic body 48 together with the core 52 in the mold 72. In the manufacturing method, the mold 72 comprises a recess 80 that houses a wedge 64. The recess 80 comprises a bottom 82 and a pair of slope-forming surfaces 84. The slope-forming surfaces 84 extend while spreading toward a bottom from the bottom 82. In the process of setting the core 52 to the mold 72, the wedge 64 is housed in the recess 80, and each of a pair of wedge slope surfaces 66 provided for the wedge 64 is brought into contact with each slope-forming surfaces 84, and an apex 58 of the wedge 64 is separated from the bottom 82 of the recess 80, and the core 52 is set to the mold 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
