Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively large curved plate for use in a railway vehicle and the like at low cost and with high accuracy.
SOLUTION: The curved plate comprises ring-shaped frame plates 61 and 71 located in an outer peripheral portion of a curved plate 80, pushing plates 62 and 72 arranged inside the frame plates 61 and 71 at regular intervals, and a pair (punch and die) of upper and lower forming dies 60 and 70 composed of base plates 63 and 73 retaining the frame plate and the pushing plates. The frame plates and pushing plates are arranged to oppose respectively in the up and down direction, and a forming acting surface (f) is prepared by carving opposing faces of respective plats. The curved plate 80 is pressed to form a curved profile, and a point mark is given on the curved plate 80 by reference points (a), (b), (c), and (d) located at four corners of the lower die 70. Then, these point marks are set in a processing machine as reference positions so as to perform cutting works. Eventually, reference positions of the curved plate 80 can be easily set up, and cutting works can be performed with high accuracy.
