Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cylindrical target from breaking, cracking, etc., in cooling after sintering.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for a cylindrical target that comprises: using a powder sintering model comprising a sleeve formed cylindrically, a core rod arranged in the center in the sleeve, and a punch provided to be inserted into a ring-shaped space part formed with the sleeve and core rod; feeding raw material power into the space part and sintering the raw material powder by heating with the raw material power pushed by the punch in an axial direction of the sleeve; and cooling the raw material after the sintering, the manufacturing method further comprising releasing the sintered body from being pushed by the punch and drawing the core bar out after the sintering the raw material powder, and completing the cooling of the sintered body with the core bar drawn out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
