Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a daylighting sheet which suppresses direct sunlight (direct incident light), provides efficient daylighting, and allows for viewing outside therethrough from inside.SOLUTION: A daylighting sheet manufacturing method includes a step for forming a light deflecting layer that deflects light on one surface of a sheet-like base material layer, the light deflecting layer having a base material layer, light transmissive sections, and light deflecting sections. Each of the light deflecting sections, in a cross-section in a thickness direction of the daylighting sheet, has an upper side that is either a polygonal line comprising a plurality of continuous straight lines or a curve and is convex downward, and a lower side opposite the upper side that is a single straight line. The step for forming the light deflecting layer includes: forming the multiple light transmissive sections juxtaposed along the one surface of the base material layer; and forming the light deflecting sections by filling the space between the multiple light transmissive sections with a material having a refractive index lower than that of the light transmissive sections, and curing the material thereafter.
