Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method wherein a high-quality and high-whiteness deinked waste paper pulp can be produced by considerably reducing dirt of a deinked pulp produced from printed waste paper including neutral newspaper having bad deinkability.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method of producing a deinked pulp. It is a method for pulping a printed waste paper through a series of steps comprising at least: a disintegration step, a dust-screening step, a bleaching step, a dispersion step, a floatation step, and a cleaning step. A high-temperature dispersion step, in which a high-temperature dispersion treatment is carried out at 90-130°C, is provided in the series of steps. A neutral floatation step, in which a deinking treatment is carried out by floatation in a neutral range of pH 6 to 9, is provided in a post step of the high-temperature dispersion step.SELECTED DRAWING: None
