Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing deinked used pulp having high whiteness from printed used paper at low cost.SOLUTION: With a combination step part where a dispersion step and a bleaching step continue in a series of steps having a disaggregation step, a floatation step, a dispersion step, a bleaching step and a dehydration/cleaning step as an intermediate step, with a step containing the former step than the intermediate step and the intermediate step as a treatment step under a pH condition of pH of 7.0 or higher and 13.0 or lower, and with a step of a later step than the intermediate step as a series of steps having the floatation step and the dehydration/cleaning step where under the pH condition in the range of from 6.0 or higher to smaller than 9.5, a filtrate of the dehydration/cleaning step of the process in the later step is used mainly as diluting water, cleaning water in the latter step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
