In this manufacturing method of a dialkyl peroxide, an alcohol compound is reacted with an organic hydroperoxide compound in the presence of a zeolite solid acid catalyst, with the coexistence of a Bronsted acid catalyst, in a method of manufacturing a dialkyl peroxide by reacting an alcohol compound with an organic hydroperoxide compound. In this manufacturing method of a dialkyl peroxide, the Bronsted acid catalyst is sulfuric acid and its dosage is 0.1-30 mole % to the organic hydroperoxide. In this manufacturing method of a dialkyl peroxide, the Bronsted acid catalyst is a cationic ion exchange resin and its dosage is 1-200 wt% to the organic hydroperoxide.
