Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a compound capable of enhancing sensitivity property of an electrophotographic photoreceptor at good yield.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a bistriphenylamine compound having a biphenyl skeleton by reacting for example [(2-methyl-6-ethyl)-phenyl]-[4-(4-phenyl-1,3-butenedienyl)-phenyl]-amine and 4,4'-dibromo-biphenyl by using a ligand represented by the formula (30) and a catalyst containing a transition metal.
