Abstract:

To provide a novel manufacturing method of dodecanedicarboxylic acid which permits selective and simple manufacture of dodecanedicarboxylic acid.

The manufacturing method of dodecanedicarboxylic acid comprises hydrolyzing decane-1,10-dicarbonimide. The manufacturing method of dodecanedicarboxylic acid permits acquisition of the aimed product in a high yield at high purity while simultaneously suppressing quality deterioration caused by a lower dicarboxylic acid and causes no problems such as generation of by-products by oxidation reactions or post-treatments necessitated by the same.
