Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of deposition metals adhering each other on both surfaces and releasing from each other when they are wound off in the next process when the metals are deposited on both the surfaces of a polypropylene film and are wound off as a product roll in a deposition machine.
SOLUTION: In a deposition process for allowing zinc or the mixture of zinc and aluminum to be subjected to vacuum deposition onto both the surfaces of a polypropylene film being withdrawn from a master roll for winding off in a product roll, an oxidizing gas is sprayed to the side of an inner surface where the polypropylene film is wound off in contact with the product roll.
