Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode material used for a fixed electrode and a variable electrode for a vacuum capacitor which is excellent in breakdown voltage characteristics.SOLUTION: Provided is a manufacturing method of an electrode material used for a fixed electrode for a vacuum capacitor or a variable electrode for a vacuum capacitor, having a three layer cladding structure in which the outer layer materials 1,1 are made of copper material and the core material 2 is made of stainless steel. In a first cold rolling step, the core material 2 is subjected to cold rolling while being sandwiched with the copper materials 1,1. In a heat treatment step, the clad material obtained in the first cold rolling step is subjected to diffusion annealing. In a second cold rolling step, the diffusion annealed clad material is subjected to cold rolling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
