Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of electronic photographic photoreceptor capable of detecting defects on an electronic photographic photoreceptor without destruction with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of electronic photographic photoreceptor performs the steps of: polishing a surface of a cylindrical electronic photographic photoreceptor in which a photoconduction layer composed of a first material is formed on a conductive substrate 101 and a surface layer composed of a second material lower in light reflectance ratio than the first material is stacked on the photoconduction layer, and flattening an abnormal protruding growth defective part on the surface of the electronic photographic photoreceptor; irradiating the surface of the electronic photographic photoreceptor with light while moving the electronic photographic photoreceptor and an image element 106 photographing the surface of the electronic photographic photoreceptor relatively in a circumferential direction of the electronic photographic photoreceptor, receiving by the image element, reflected light reflected on the surface of the electronic photographic photoreceptor, and processing output of the image element; and calculating the size of the abnormal growth defective part from output processing information of the image element and film thickness information of the surface layer to inspect the abnormal growth defective part, in this order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
