Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has a charge transport layer having a more uniform film thickness.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer in order on a cylindrical conductive support. The method has processes of: (i) dipping the conductive support in a coating liquid for charge generation layer; (ii) lifting the conductive support from the coating liquid for charge generation layer; (iii) heating and drying the support coated with the coating liquid for charge generation layer to provide the charge generation layer; (iv) cooling the charge generation layer; and (v) dipping the conductive support having the charge generation layer formed in a coating liquid for charge transport layer while a gas in the space of the cylinder of the conductive support is kept in the space, wherein the coating liquid for charge transport layer contains a solvent of 34-85°C in boiling point and the process (v) satisfies two specific conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
