Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the efficient hydrolysis treatments of a wood biomass at a low equipment cost. SOLUTION: This method for producing hydrolysates from the wood biomass as a raw material comprises a primary crushing process P1 for preliminarily crushing the wood biomass B with a pre-crushing machine 20 to obtain the preliminarily crushed product B1, a freezing crushing process P2 for finely crushing the preliminarily crushed product B1 obtained in the preliminarily crushing process P1 with a freezing crushing device 30 in a frozen state to obtain the finely crushed product B2, a kneading process P3 for mixing and kneading alcohol water AL with the finely crushed product B2 obtained in the freezing crushing process P2 to obtain the kneaded product B3, a molding process P4 for molding the kneaded product B3 obtained in the kneading process P3 in the mold 51 of a hydrolysis device 50, and a hydrolysis process P5 for imparting such a pressure and a temperature as changing the alcohol water AL in the compressed product B4 into a supercritical state to the molded compressed product B4 to hydrolyze the compressed product, thus producing hydrolysates such as glucose.
