To provide a manufacturing method for a fixed iron core of an alternator for an automobile capable of preventing dimensional changes in a winding diameter due to a slip caused between a rolling roller and a band-shaped core.
There is a process for stopping delivery of a band-shaped thin plate and cutting it when a prescribed amount of winding-up of the band-shaped thin plate is completed. By using at least more than one condition among acceleration condition for accelerating from the start of the winding-up of the band-shaped thin plate up to a prescribed delivery speed, a prescribed delivery speed condition, a deceleration condition for decelerating from the prescribed delivery speed up to the prescribed low speed delivery speed, and the prescribed low speed delivery speed condition in a series of processes for newly starting the winding-up of the band-shaped thin plate after the completion of the prescribed amount of winding-up, dimensional changes in the winding-up diameter is restrained by performing various types of position control for each condition for at least more than one among a position of an inlet port guide 6, a gap between the rolling rollers 7, 8, and a position of a restraint fixture 10 to perform rolling bending.
