To provide a method by which a glass mold having micro recessed portions easily formed in its surface can be manufactured and to provide a method by which an acrylic resin plate having micro unevenness well reproducibly formed in its surface.
The method for manufacturing the glass mold comprises a step for forming a metal film on the surface of a glass substrate, a step for forming the plurality of micro recesses on the surface of the glass substrate by irradiating a pulsed laser beam to the surface of the metal film, and a step for subjecting the glass substrate having the plurality of micro recesses formed in its surface to etching processing, and the method for manufacturing the acrylic resin plate comprises using the glass mold manufactured by the method for manufacturing the glass mold according to the present invention as at least one of two molds when charging an acrylic polymerizable mixture into the gap between the two molds arranged being spaced apart by a certain distance and polymerizing and solidifying the same and arranging the glass mold such that the micro recesses of the glass mold and the acrylic polymerizable mixture come in contact with each other.
