Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing high-purity and inexpensive gold fine particles.SOLUTION: The method of producing gold fine particles includes: mixing gold (III) oxide, a protecting agent and a reducing agent to prepare a reaction solution so that the addition amount of gold (III) oxide is in the range of 1 to 55 mass% when the addition amount of gold (III) oxide in the reaction solution is defined by the weight (g) of gold contained in the gold (III) oxide×100(%)/the weight (g) of the reaction solution (mass%), and reducing the gold (III) oxide by irradiating the reaction solution with ultrasonic wave to precipitate gold fine particles covered with the protecting agent.
