Abstract:
To remove organic chlorine harmful materials such as trichloroethylene and PCB from contaminated soil containing them easyly at low cost to form purified soil.
The method adopts: a process comprising of adding 5-20% alumina, 1-5% ferric oxide, 1-5% active carbon fine powder, and 1-3% a detergent to soil containing many silica components to knead, of calcining a mixture at 800-950°C to cool, and thereafter, of grinding to yield a granular soil clarification material; and a process of making the purified soil by adding/mixing the yielded granular soil clarification material to the contaminated soil containing the harmful materials.
